Bagalkot, June 16 : District Commissioner Sangappa released awareness signboards on the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act. He instructed the concerned officials to take necessary steps for installing these signboards in temples to create public awareness against child marriage. On this occasion, District Health and Family Welfare Officer Dr. Manjunath K., District Child Protection Officer Dr. Veena, District Surveillance Officer Dr. Dayanand Karennavar, District Malaria Control Officer Dr. Kusuma Magi, REACH President Simha, and other officials were present.
